Perth Kitchen Crafters

Tall storage, a bench over the machines, drawers for the hampers and a rail to dry on, made in the same finish as your kitchen and usually in the same run. A laundry is a small room that works hard, so we draw it the way we draw a kitchen: from the way you use it.

Drawn from the way you use it

A bench over the washer and dryer so there is somewhere to fold. Tall cabinets for the vacuum, the ironing board and the things that have no other home. Deep drawers for the hampers, one per person if the room allows. A drying rail that pulls out and goes away. A sink cabinet with the plumbing hidden behind a door.

Finished like the kitchen

The same door, the same colour and the same handles as the kitchen, so the house reads as one. The finishes that suit a laundry are the ones that wipe clean and shrug off water: a matt thermolaminated door or a flat board front, with a stone or laminate bench over the machines.

The pantry open: appliance shelf with microwave and coffee machine, custom inner drawers below
The bar nook: cross wine rack with lit glass shelves over a white cabinet with a timber top
Made with the kitchen

Most of our laundries are made in the same run as the kitchen, from the same sheets. It is the cheapest way to get one and the only way to get an exact match. If the laundry is the only job, tell us on the form and we will say honestly whether it makes sense on its own.

What we make, and what we do not

We make the cabinetry: carcasses, doors, drawers, panels, the bench support and the fitting. The washer, the dryer, the tap and the tiles are yours. The plumber and the electrician quote their own part and come in when the drawings say so. Give us the appliance model numbers and the cabinets are sized to them, with the machines side by side or stacked, whichever the room wants.

The sink run: double undermount sink, gooseneck mixer, dark speckled stone, slim rangehood under the overheads
The SIGE magic corner swung out, pots on the tray
A laundry in a cupboard

Often the room is a hallway or a cupboard. A European laundry is a tall cabinet with the machines stacked inside, a shelf above and doors that close on the lot, drawn around the machines you already have.

Often, yes. A European laundry is a tall cabinet with the machines stacked inside, a shelf above and doors that close on the lot. We draw it around the machines you have.

The ones that wipe clean and shrug off water: a matt thermolaminated door or a flat board front, with a stone or laminate bench on top. In most houses, the same finish as the kitchen.

No. You buy them, we size the cabinets to them, and the electrician and the plumber connect them.

Sometimes. A laundry made with the kitchen shares the sheets, the delivery and the install, which is why it costs less that way. On its own it is a small job with the same setup behind it, so tell us what you want and we will be straight with you about whether it is worth doing.

The same way as a kitchen, only shorter: a free visit to your house, a quote on the spot or within 48 hours, drawings you approve, then the workshop and the install. The process page has the steps and the dates.
